There is new casino construction on the Las Vegas strip. There’s also a new $1.8 billion, 65,000-seat stadium being built for the Oakland Raiders, several large solar installation projects on the horizon, and large data center jobs in both Las Vegas and Reno.

Nevada’s current electrical construction hotspot is USA Parkway in the Greater Reno area, where several huge projects are underway for the world’s largest industrial park. The 24-square-mile Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center has attracted dozens of companies like Google, Berkshire Hathaway,Switch and FedEx and Walmart distribution centers. Tesla is building a $5 billion battery factory that will employ more than 1,000 electricians at peak.

Line workers are in demand as well, with ballot initiatives expected to create significant future solar, substation, and transmission line projects. We have immediate work opportunities for operators, linemen and groundmen.

Our journeyman electrician total wage and benefit package ranges from the mid $50s/hour in the north, to around $65/hour in the Las Vegas area. Exact rates depend on classification and your employer.

Healthcare and retirement plans are employer-paid.
