In Idaho, there is ongoing demand for residential, retail, commercial, and smaller industrial construction. Boise’s local members are working on several large projects in the area. The Pocatello local is working on projects that include a center for a major government organization and a large bank.


North of Pocatello, we’re working on a Department of Energy nuclear waste storage and reactor site.


We currently have substation and some transmission line work; we expect more similar projects in the near future.


Journeyman electrician wage and benefit rates are around $44/hour. Our members and their families enjoy excellent healthcare and retirement plans.
